The Dragon Herbs was established since 2014 based in Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan with the aim to be an Authentic Bhutanese Medicinal Herbs which can supply Natural Cordyceps Sinensis and other medicinal herbs harvested from the pristine Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. Dragon Herbs was approved by the Department of  Regional Trade and Industry Office under the Ministry of Economic Affairs bearing License No. 1004842. It was also registered with Bhutan Chamber of Commerce & Industry as one of the Kingdom’s pioneer Herbs Exporters with Export Registration Number BCCI/CS/2016/15.

Hailing from Laya, Gasa, Ms. Pema Seldon Dorji, the founder of the firm is an adept business person with over 5 years of firsthand work experience in herbal collections and sales. Herbs collection and business comes at her leverage as she being born highlander, unlike other traders. Her firm has been into this business since 2011 and supplying herbs to local dealers as well as manufacturers and traders abroad as per their requirements, every year.

Since the apex of all laws in the country, ‘the Constitution of Bhutan’ protects 60% of the natural biodiversity for all time to come, the sustainable growth of herbs including the cordyceps is ensured for generations. Thereby, medicinal herbs have always been key social and economic factors that have contributed to the country’s development philosophy the ‘Gross National Happiness (GNH).’
